The whole of Salou is like a big, open-air shopping center. In its streets you will find a wide variety of shops and merchandise. The following are some of the main shopping areas in the resort: The Old Town
In this, the oldest part of the town, you will find the most traditional shops. Some of them have been here as long as the town has been a holiday resort and they pride themselves in maintaining high standards of quality and service for our visitors. In this area you will also find the banks, savings banks and other year-round businesses.

The Eixample
Pubs, restaurants and shops share the streets of this area, where the visitor can find a wide variety of goods, including those special souvenirs to take back home. This is also where most of the resort's hotels are found, which means there is a great atmosphere in the streets throughout the season.

Jaume I Promenade and Major Street area
An area where you can stroll under the magnificent exotic palm trees as well as browse in the many shops. The Jaume I Promenade is currently undergoing a facelift to make it even more inviting for our visitors to enjoy its terrace cafes and restaurants.

Municipal Market area
In this area you will find the shops and businesses that stay open all year round to serve both residents and visitors. Food shops, fashion boutiques and restaurants can all be found here. The permanent Municipal Market is here, and on Monday mornings, the weekly street market spreads out along the Via Roma displaying its wares both to shoppers and those who just like to look.
